Overview

Exporting a Navisworks Model to Toric requires a few simple steps to get you started.

  1. Install Toric Navis Plugin
  2. Select model elements and Clash test in Toric Plugin

Install Toric Navis Plugin

Toric Navis Plugin can be found in the Construction & BIM Section under the Integrations.

Please follow the Setup Wizard to install the plugin. The Navis plugin will be installed on all available Navis versions.

Select model elements and schedule in Toric Plugin

Toric Navis Plugin will be shown as a separate tab in Navis after it’s successfully installed

When you use the Plugin for the first time, you would need to log in to your Toric account

You can import both Model data and Clash Tests to Toric.

Model Data: Only elements selected will be imported into Toric.

Clash Tests: If there is no clash test created in the Navis file, Clash Tests option will be grayed out.

Organization: It would always be your company.

Project: The Toric Project folder you want to save your file in.

Dataset Source: Toric plugin will use the model name as default dataset source name. You can also manually type a different name in the box.
